As Head of Design at Indus OS, a start-up that later partnered with Samsung, I defined the design principles for a localised Android OS and an AI driven app store.
I worked hands-on on App Bazaar while helming product strategy. The marketplace shipped in 13 languages, with a payment flow that let people buy using the credit already on their SIM or mobile account, which mattered enormously for users without cards.
Samsung adopted it, taking the user base to 500 million. I also initiated the company’s IP folio, filing four ideas that helped catalyse their seed funding.
I worked as the Design Head for Indus OS (a startup) that eventually partnered with Samsung for their mobile OS and marketplace called app bazaar. I worked hands-on on App Bazaar while helming the product strategy at Indus OS. I defined the Design principles and initiated their IP folio by helping file 4 ideas that catalyzed their seed funding.





Payment process was unique, allowing users to make a purchase using the balance credit on their SIM or mobile account.

I did the story boarding for this video that was published as an attempt to increase audience and know-how for app bazaar in the target segment. I initiated and supervised the making of this video with a third party vendor.
