Preeti Saluja leads innovation and product design at myZoi, a Standard Chartered backed fintech in Dubai building financial products for underserved communities in the UAE. She has 19 years of experience across different continents and cultures, and she moves between design, research and product strategy rather than treating them as separate lanes.
As Product Innovation Manager she works across five product verticals, including cross-border transfers and a B2B2C payroll portal. She grew cross-border transfer penetration from 46% to 62% by refining the AI driven adoption programme, and has held point-of-sale penetration above 85% of salary processed. She designed the employer-facing corporate portal end to end, covering Wage Protection System and non-WPS payroll, from client onboarding and verification through salary disbursement to account management and reporting, turning regulated payroll operations into something transparent and trusted.
Much of that work is 0 to 1. She frames ambiguous customer problems, develops and tests propositions, and uses research, prototyping and data to reduce uncertainty before committing to build. She uses AI daily for customer data analysis, research synthesis and prototyping, and established the practice for ethical, compliant AI adoption across the organisation. The customer evidence base behind that product direction comes from over 550 interviews she has run and synthesised with blue-collar migrant workers, identifying friction across their transactional journeys. She is a CBUAE Certified Financial Inclusion Champion.
Before myZoi she led digital transformation of trade insurance products for Canadian exporters at Export Development Canada, AI driven supply chain and retail software for Logility, and Cloudworx, AV software for sound engineers, at Harman, a Samsung company. As Chief UX Designer at Samsung she led design strategy for flagship smartphones including Galaxy Fold, and shipped Tizen OS. At Telus she led design of the agent desktop application, delivering $5M in annual savings.
She has helped fund two start-ups by defining their product roadmap, IP folio and design for beta launch.
An electrical engineer and a design graduate from the National Institute of Design, she has expertise in envisioning product roadmaps for C level executives using the power of storytelling. She has two healthcare publications to her credit and four design patents covering smart energy, search engine and regional operating system ideas.
She loves to express her life’s events through stories and comic strips, and reads non fiction when away from work. Designing hand crafted boxes that celebrate art is her new found love.
